Riverbed Concrete Inc. Stained & Seal concrete flooring penetrates and permanently stains new or existing concrete, producing unique, permanent color for interior/exterior concrete surfaces. Riverbed Concrete Inc. offers three colorant choices which will add beautiful, translucent color to your commercial or residential concrete flooring:
Acid Stain:
Acid stains chemically react with the concrete surface producing permanent color. Highs and lows in color tone, which are commonly referred to as modeling, are attributed to the beauty of acid stained concrete flooring. (interior/exterior)
SIM Stain:
SIM Stains are pigments suspended in a water-based, lithium solution that migrate into the microscopic pours of the concrete surface providing permanent color. SIM Stains often exhibit crazing, which resembles the crackle finish of fired clay pottery. (interior/exterior)
Dye:
Dyes are fast becoming the overwhelming colorant of choice for interior concrete flooring. Dyes consist of very fine particle colorants which penetrate the concrete surface resulting in permanent color. Available in a broad palette of color tones, dyes offer a wide array of decorative options. (interior only)
